In 1994, one man started Barrett Maintenance after the company he was working for closed their office. Customers continued to call on Randy and he realized there was a need for petroleum maintenance in this area. Therefore, in 1994 Barrett Maintenance was born. Randy performed maintenance on many types of petroleum equipment out of a small white van; he traveled throughout Western Kentucky, Southern Illinois and Western Tennessee. As business kept growing and more and more customers kept requesting tank installation and removal services; Barrett Maintenance turned into Barrett Maintenance, Inc or BMI in 2001. At this point we became a full scale petroleum maintenance and installation contractor. Today, we employ five technicians and perform maintenance on most all types of petroleum equipment and also upgrades. We also maintain a full construction crew for all of our tank installations or removals. And new in 2004 we have opened a full sign & lighting division.
